How To Protect Your Games Using Xbox 360 Game Burning Software

Most gamers, well aware of the high cost of their Xbox 360 games, want to find a way to create and play backup copies of their Xbox 360 game discs, so that they can store their original discs to protect them from loss or damage. Some gamers are simply careless and don’t take the time to handle their games safely. These gamers definitely need to use backup copies. But the truth is, even the careful gamers need backups, because the Xbox 360 discs are extremely sensitive. They deteriorate over time and incur damage from the simple act of being played over and over again.

There are a couple of ways that you can play backup copies of your Xbox 360 games. You can physically modify your Xbox 360 system by adding a mod chip, or you can burn the backup copies of your games using specially designed Xbox 360 game burning software that is capable of bypassing the copy protection schemes that are integrated into the game’s code to prevent game piracy.

The addition of a mod chip was once the most popular way to go, perhaps because it was the only way known to work. The problems with this approach, however, were many. You needed to spend a few bucks to buy the mod chip, and unless you were an electronics technician, you needed to find an expert that could make the physical modification which required soldering the chip onto your system’s motherboard. The greatest risk, however, was the fact that the simple act of modifying the system voided the manufacturer’s warranty on the system.

Fortunately for gamers, some smart computer types developed Xbox 360 game burning programs that made it unnecessary to modify the system. The special Xbox 360 game burning software that they developed has made the Xbox 360 game burning process so simple that any gamer can do it. The instructions for copying and burning an Xbox 360 game disc may vary among the different software applications, but they all follow the same basic steps shown below.

1. Download a good game copying software application from the Internet.
2. Insert the original Xbox 360 game disc into your computer’s CD/DVD drive, and copy the game to the computer’s hard drive.
3. Insert a blank disc into the CD/DVD drive and burn the file from the hard disk to the blank, and remove your new backup game from the computer.

With such a small effort, you can easily create backup copies for all of the games in your collection. Xbox 360 game burning software is a blessing to all gamers who want to protect their investment. Shop around on the Internet to find the best game copying software application. Speak with friends, and check the blogs to make sure that the program that you select is the best for you. Once you have a good Xbox 360 game burning program installed, you’ll never again worry about having to buy an expensive replacement for a game that has been lost, stolen, or damaged.

The case mods are fine… software mods (to run burned games) will get your console permanently banned from Xbox Live – I highly recommend you don’t even try them.
